One of my 'resolutions' for last year was to post more fic that wasn't part of a challenge (excluding my episode drabbles). I only managed 1, but that's better than the 0 of the years before.
I'm familiar with the boot drama too! I have this pair of ankle boots that I love, and I wear all the time but they're getting a little old and tired and worn out. Can I find a replacement pair? No. What about in the store you bought them from? No. Have you looked online? Yes. Have you tried on lots of pairs just in case you think something that's not 'the pair' actually is? Yes, I have. Are you now wishing that you bought multiple pairs of these boots instead of just the one pair all those years before? Why yes. Yes I am.
