> Well, I hoped we'd get a little more of that reunion scene, maybe a hug.
This encourages me in my theory that we haven't seen the least of Deanael because I reckon they're saving the hug for when they really get rid of Michael.
> Sam neatly writes Bobby and Mary (Mobby? Bary?) out of the episode by explaining they stayed behind to clean up the "situation,"
Remember my prediction that Bobby would be out of the bunker as soon as Dean was back in it? o_O
> So was that not a memory at all? Was he actually seeing it? It's confusing. (After I just praised your scriptwriting, Berens. Come on.)
Be careful you're not blaming the writer for a directorial decision. It's also possible the dumbass explainers are directorial additions (remember how it happened in Hollywood Babylon). Cos, I have to say, this was a horribly directed episode.
> "I already lost, before I even began."
I think this is Berens talking, and we're supposed to feel sorry for him for never getting the chance to do his own show, and also we're supposed to feel sorry for Kim Rhodes for not getting to star in her own show. This is supposed to be a very sad moment for so many reasons. *sigh* OK. Yes, I do feel a bit sorry for these people, and I guess I after all the work they did for Wayward Sisters I can't blame Berens for wanting to shoehorn the material into SPN by the back door but, honestly, I just wish they'd accept that the SPN audience is just not interested in these 'pretty young things' and the boring characters they play and just move on.
Except for Jack. Jack gets a pass. (Though, even with Jack I wish they'd stop teasing these romantic interests for him because they're effing boring, too).
