Wonderful review of a damned good episode (all the pesky little quibbles aside). I really enjoyed the Sam & Rowena scenes, the gorgon, all the worried Sam scenes after Dean got banged up, and Jack's saving everybody (and the world). I'm inclined to think that Michael is dead, dead, dead, although that could just be wishful thinking because I never enjoyed him very much, even when he possessed Dean and got all sassy (Okay, maybe I did enjoy that a teensy tiny bit!)

The ending made me wonder: did Jack use up the rest of his soul and is he now more angel than human? Or not even human at all anymore? How will that change him? And more importantly, how will that change his relationship with Sam & Dean? (Not really with Cas since they're both angels, I guess).
