I liked the monster hunting part of this ep a really whole lot. I just really like it when Dean and Sam go out into the woods and kill monsters. Whatever came later, that is the actual reason I liked this show to begin with. I found myself getting unreasonably irritated with people online referring to this as a "filler" episode. Saving people and hunting things is still important.

Jack's story resonated with me very much on account of I have a 15 year old who got into huge giant very serious trouble at school this week because she was trying to show off for some dumbass kids she barely even knows and it's all fun and games until your stupid ass gets suspended for three days. But I guess at least she didn't stab anyone with telekenesis, so.
