I'm not gonna comment on anything else yet coz I haven't seen enough GIFs nor had a look at hate transcript yet so I can't really discuss anything...but...I have seen the scene where their talking to the angel about him being a fan. And, wow, the first thing I thought was that was directed at us...coz it's kind of harsh...I could be interpreting it wrongly but it sounded a bit mean? :-/
