Randomness!

As instructed, here are my bits of randomness. Both are from my recent trip to the UK. This time, neither involves cemeteries or bees.

"Mind the gap" makes me so happy. I don't even know why. It's just so British.

I love that there is a maritime flag that literally means "stop carrying out your intentions and watch for my signals." Does it work? And if so, can I put it on a t-shirt?

It is totally so British. XDD And I love that that flag exists, too! Also, "I require a tug." I would wear that 24/7 if it would get me 24/7 tug.

The real question is, when you're a Finnish vessel, do people automatically also assume you would like them to stop carrying out your intentions and watch for my signals?? Did sharing a maritime border with Russia inspire Finland's choice of national flag??? XP

I know the Finnish flag isn't square, but HEY, YOU'RE ON A BOAT. IT'S WINDY. MISTAKES HAPPEN. XD

These are important and relevant questions!

Oh god, now I just want adorable maritime flag fan art of all the angels.

Gadreel -- "Man overboard"
Suicide angels -- "I am taking in or discharging or carrying explosives"
Castiel -- "Stop carrying out your intentions and wait for my signal"
Hannah -- "I require a pilot"
Bartholomew -- "I have a pilot"
Anna -- "I wish to communicate with you"
Raphael -- "I am on fire and have dangerous cargo on board"
Uriel -- "No"

I know just what you mean about "Mind the Gap"! It means one has truly arrived in London. :) It's been a long time since I've been there, but every time I've been, it was awesome. Thanks for sharing!

WHISKEY is my fave :-D

[identity profile] caranfindel.livejournal.com 2014-07-09 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
LOVE THESE.

Destiel - "Keep clear of me, I am engaged in pair trawling."
Michael - "I have a diver down, keep well clear at slow speed." Or maybe "My vessel is stopped and making no way through the water."
Lucifer - "You are running into danger."
Is anyone left who could use "My vessel is healthy and I request free pratique?"

Oh god, cracking up so badly. XDDD THE DESTIEL ONE, LOL. Where is an artsy someone, this needs to happen for real now.

I completely missed the brilliance of "my vessel is healthy" too!

And "you should stop your vessel instantly." This MUST apply to someone.

Yankee is for Monday mornings before coffee. I love how Juliet is really dire and is such a calm blue and white. I think they'd all make really great icons or one of those mood indicators.

Yankee is for Monday mornings before coffee.

And yet it looks so caffeinated.
