I don't know how I feel about that conversation at the end, really. A lot of people are holding it up next to Dean promising to tell Sam if anything goes sideways, and I kind of thing... is there even a chance Sam ever believed that was going to happen, really? Dean admitting he's not coping would involve Dean admitting to himself he's not coping. I mean it can't really be news to Sam that things aren't right, can it? I kind of hope that he's been keeping a contingency plan in mind all along, or something.

On the one hand, I was surprised by Dean volunteering any information about how he was feeling, but on the other, I can't help but interpret it in the light of the 'past saving' comments. Maybe I'm being overly pessimistic, but I read it more as an attempt to smooth things over/reassure Sam in the expectation that they don't have much time left.

I'm pretty much in love with the Jody & Donna spinoff idea. They were so awesome. Though I am a little disappointed that Jody didn't lamp Doug one.
