I read this about a week ago but on mobile so that's the reason for the delay in my actually coming to leave a comment - this was great, just as good as the first part which I read and enjoyed when you first posted it. I loved how you had Dean beginning to cave in to the Mark - beginning to feel dependent on it in a way which I feel kinda fits with what Sam was saying in 10x10, about the fact that part of Dean's conquering the Mark has to come from Dean's own self-belief and intent. I loved how Sam thought on his feet and came up with a plan to save them and I loved how dramatic that solution was (HURT SAM FOR LYFE Y'ALL); it made my stomach drop (I LOVED IT). In fact you could have PERMANENTLY injured Sam and I'd have probably liked it even better but I think that says more about my sadism than it does about your fic...!!!! Off to rec on my Tumblr now x
