Holy cow! This is my song for Sam in the cage and just picturing Dean listening to it then is heart-rending. Paired with this super scary Dean and whatever suspected awful thing happened to Cas and the contrast with earlier Dean is just emotionally crushing. Heck of an awesome piece of writing.
