I love love love loved it!!! The motw, with touches of mytharch, some brotherly moments and talking, two strong female characters (and I'm with you bring back Eileen - kickass and sweet, and I really enjoyed seeing her and Sam bond. More of her please!) - it just worked for me! (And apparently I'm a sucker for Robbie's writing, and I don't even care. I loved it!)

I can't tell you how much I adored the sunset and graveyard scene, and Sam's memory box of treasures was a perfect touch. It felt very Sam. It would seem that Robbie was doing his best to smooth over another fan gripe ie the purgatory issue, while I'm not thrilled about it, there was a hint there that Sam was looking but "stopped" (his word, I think) and at least there's some attempt at closure here; we'll just have to move on (unless they're setting something up? Another situation where Sam will find himself all alone (Cas and Lucifer, Dean and Amara. A rewrite?)

I saw Dean as being vulnerable because of his lies and deception in relation to Amara; like maybe he's let himself be emotionally vulnerable and open to influence? Or maybe his connection to Amara makes to vulnerable in some way (to her enemy? to her power? He did say he was worried he couldn't resist her!)

Wonderful ep reaction! Thank you for sharing :)
