The Gaslight is especially of note if you have cross fandom interests in say, someone like Oscar Isaac, who starred in the movie "Inside Llewyn Davis" directed by the Coens, as a struggling folk singer.

I loved this ep so much. Ecstatic to see Chuck again. Metatron was even a tiny, tiny wee bit sympathetic....

I always loved the movie "the Fog." I'm really surprised Dean didn't make a reference to Adrienne Barbeau. :D

In my very humble opinion, Chuck and Amara need to reconcile. I'm a utopian, and a mystic, and I always want things like "God and his sister should embrace" and "darkness and light should mingle together" etc etc. If that happens my jaw will hit the floor but I will be very happy. :) I used to read "Saga of the Swamp Thing" by Alan Moore (this was like literally thirty years ago, OMG), and it was all about that kind of cosmic balance. So, yeah, that's what I'm always looking for. It makes for great, revolutionary psychedelic comic books, but maybe not such great serial tv. :)

Thanks so much for your great witty and insightful recaps. I haven't been around as much (RL is eating me alive) but I knew you'd have something here, and I really appreciate it. :D
