For starters, Amara has always had man-hands. But that's beside the point. When we first see her in this garden, she is running her hands over the flowers as she passes, only to look back and see that they've died due to her touch. The rest of the garden is still in bloom. This is why she's looking at her hands in such a strange manner.
Which brings me to the reason for my comment. Amara's been nothing but a soul-sucking destroyer in contrast to God the creator. Until the Garden scene, she seemed in control of what she destroyed but not once had she shown any sign of being able to create anything. So, how did she gift Dean with Mary?
Also, on a side note, I believe British Lady was using the collective You while speaking to Sam. I think she was there to bring both brothers in. She did ask about Dean's whereabouts, after all.
