I really enjoyed this fic. It was lovely reading a case fic and a well-written one to boot. You did such a marvelous job of tying the case to the boys' situation and emotions. You illustrated their individual desperation so well. It was a little like experiencing S2 all over again. i find all too often that there are fans who are unable to see both Sam and Dean's POVs, but you do.

I think what I liked most was Sam figuring out how to save himself by asking Dean to cut slowly. Ugh, it was torture, but exactly what Sam would do -- that ah-ha! moment of understanding and then trusting Dean to snap out of it. I wish the current writing team understood Sam as well as you do, dear. Great work. Thank you for sharing.
