Sam was depressed in the previous episode and he's still depressed
It seems that the original plan was for this episode to air before Breakdown. That would have made Sam's depression flow a bit more naturally, with us seeing the beginning of it here and then having him go into full blown depression after hearing Rowena remind him that Lucifer ALWAYS comes back and after having him admit to the fact that he has never really dealt with, let alone gotten over, what happened with Lucifer. However, this didn't work badly in this order and I'm just overjoyed that they are actually having more than one episode that looks at Sam's state of mind.
I'm disappointed they didn't choose to resurrect ______ instead of Cas, Ketch, and Rowena:
I assume you didn't mean to have Arthur Ketch as a choice here? Since he's one of the instead of choices?
Even the angel/demon drama was enjoyable
Angel/Demon drama will never again be enjoyable. Or if it is they will have to really shake things up, and get rid of Lucifer.
I have really liked all of Steve Yockey's episodes. The witch sister drama in this one was a bit weak for me, but I like Rowena and I loved Sam getting a POV, so I was happy all in all.
