Yep to this second thing. And I'm guessing Show will pretend Ketch destroyed every trace of evidence, just to show how powerful he is.

I suppose they could hack into stuff. But why didn't they just hack into things and act like Sam and Dean never existed or were dead? Why kill people? Ugh, just to show what dicks they are I guess...
