Okay I so need this to be true! Otherwise I just don't get Mary (how does she not admit what she's done in the face of her children's demise?)

The moment the time is up we see Mary opening her mouth and moving forward cut to Dean who steps up and starts talking. I thought that was obvious, but now I read all the other viewers missed that!
