Poll: Most rewatchable episodes of season 7

What shall we do during the long, dark period before our show comes back? How about a poll? How about season 7? How about we pick the most rewatchable epsiode of season 7?

For this round, pick as many episodes as you like; we'll narrow it down later. And as always, send your friends and followers, because the more vote we get, the more scientifically accurate the poll is, and I'm all about the accuracy.

Please vote by midnight (your time zone) on Sunday, March 1.

(The question is supposed to say rewatch, not research, and it's too late to fix it. Stupid autocorrect.)

[Poll #2001102]

Time for a Wedding? I don't remember this episode...surely, this episode doesn't exist? ;-P

xx

You were lucky enough to purge it from your brain? How did you do that?
frozen_delight: (fuck!)

I want to know too!!!

[identity profile] saltandburnboys.livejournal.com 2015-02-25 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol, there totally needs to be a mass distribution of brain bleach to all of fandom thanks to that atrocious episode...that totally doesn't exist obviously! ;-)

xx

Sheer willpower, lol! It was very important to my mental well-being that that episode no longer exist, hehe! ;-)

One of my favorite episodes. Yes, I'm serious. LOVE.

It's okay; we love you anyway. :)

The poll's back! I love you, you make hiatus bearable! <3

That being said, this is my least favourite season and there's not too much I want to rewatch. Apart from pretty 1944!Dean of course. I don't think Dean's ever been so pretty. *dreamy sigh* It's magical.

On the other hand, as a rabid Sam!Girl, The Born-Again Identity is one of the highlights of my life.

That was one of the better episodes of the season - and yes, I agree, it's worth watching that even when he's sleep-deprived and tormented by the devil in his head, Sam still manages to be an awesome hunter! I'm all for badass competent hunter!Sam. And a bit of Sam h/c isn't amiss either. :)

[identity profile] elwarre.livejournal.com 2015-02-25 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I have watched Born Again Identity a truly disgusting number of times. SUCH a great episode. hallucinating!Sam is sooooooo hot.

I like S7TFAW...*dodges thrown chairs*.

On the whole, I seem to like the episodes that don't mean much to the overall arc. I loved Plucky's. It was so...random. Also traumatized!Sam FTW.

[identity profile] caranfindel.livejournal.com 2015-02-25 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe because the Big Bad arc was weak? So the episodes that weren't tied to it too much were better.

[identity profile] elwarre.livejournal.com 2015-02-25 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
In my head, the "big bad arc" of Season 7 is Sam's declining mental state. I'm aware this is not true. But I still kind of fit everything into that.

[identity profile] caranfindel.livejournal.com 2015-02-25 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
It was definitely the better arc.

[identity profile] manzanita-crow.livejournal.com 2015-02-25 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, I hadn't thought of Annie as a victim of Sam's peen. Probably cos she was a hunter anyway and therefore highly likely to cop it under any circumstances :)

[identity profile] caranfindel.livejournal.com 2015-02-25 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure banging Sam Winchester upped the odds.

Still willing to take my chance :D

I like season seven and the Leviathan until they turned from terrifying to become an endless joke. That over the top acting of the guy Bobby had strapped to the chair was where they lost me. I would have liked the writers to stick to the noir theme all the way through like they had originally planed but no one these days can handle that. It's a good thing Shakespeare lived when he did. If he was alive today he'd be hated for writing tragedies.

[identity profile] septembers-coda.livejournal.com 2015-02-26 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Season 7 is a weird one for me, because I thought the Leviathan were the stupidest thing ever, and I'm still upset that they killed Bobby (though Death's Door was a great ep). But hallucinating Sam, Hallucifer, crazy!Cas, and the inclusion/introduction of SO MANY of my fave side characters (Kevin, Garth, Rufus, Jody, Becky, AND Charlie, to name a few!) made it so there were lots of awesome individual episodes. S7 Time for a Wedding and the Born-Again Identity were two of my top-10 episodes EVER, and there were several other greats.

I agree about Season 7 as a whole - I haven't done much re-watching of it though. And I wasn't over fond of Time for a Wedding, but I don't hate it. I mean, how could you hate and never re-watch an episode where Sam gets tied to a bed?

[identity profile] madebyme-x.livejournal.com 2015-02-26 12:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Awesome poll choice!

Death's Door is a beautiful and poignant episode. But overall I was surprised by how many strong episode there were this season, especially when I don't consider it one of my favs.

[identity profile] galwithglasses.livejournal.com 2015-03-01 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
This was a weird season with a lot of really great stand alone episodes and a strange season arc. I liked the leviathans best when they looked like exploding meteorites of axel grease in Purgatory later in the next season. I miss Bobby. I hated the whole keeping-secrets plot at the beginning of the season. In light of the beginning of season 8, though, it looks pretty good. Season 7 was a really good season for the look and feel of the show. Great motel rooms. I think it was also the year of the sideburns.......

[identity profile] amberdreams.livejournal.com 2015-03-01 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Holy sideburns, and Sam's hair was epic.

[identity profile] jj1564.livejournal.com 2015-03-01 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I had to chose my top 3 - The Slice Girls 'cos we don't often see Dean shirtless - yay!; Time After Time- Dean looked amazing, Elliot Ness was so cool and Sam/Jody; Reading Is Fundamental - Kevin! Overall S7 is my lest favourite but it still had some great episodes.

[identity profile] wings128.livejournal.com 2015-03-01 08:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Can't say season 7 is a favourite, but it does have time travel, shirt removal, and a fiesty brainy quirky redhead, so it wasn't all bad :D
