Things I liked: BOYS IN CUFFS AT END OF EPISODE. MMMMMMMMMM.

You left Crazy Ex Girlfriend off your list of potential CW baby names! A show not afraid to let a character say "abortion,'' so, appropriate.

I didn't find Cas' powers any more wildly inconsistent than usual, but I have have put a lot of mental discipline into ignoring that stuff.

I for one welcome Lucifer's super-special God-Sue child and assume that, as these things tend to go, it will be rebelling and turning out the biggest thorn in Old Man Nick's side--probably by the end of this season since I'm guessing it's gonna get the super aging ala Aunt Amara. I can't think of anything Cas or Metatron said about the nephilim that reflects badly on their inherent nature--the worst Cas said was that the baby would be an abomination and he said the same about Sam, so, really, they should probably be throwing a shower. Then Sam can give the kid the power and responsibility and freewill talk and it will turn out fine. Or as fine as anybody else in the family, which is hardly a hard bar to clear.

I'd rate Mr. Ketch's genuine desire to help somewhat below Lucifer's genuine aptitude for fatherhood. I'd also like to know if we're supposed to believe that the BMoL really were only in the vicinity because Sam called them in? Because that would mean that they missed out not only on a cabal of Nazi necromancers resurrecting Hitler but the POTUS getting possessed by the Devil.

I just really want some adorably stereotypical Canadian MoL to show up, clean up the mess made by Americans and Brits, and apologize a lot because somebody has to.

Addendum: I am looking forward to more Winchesters in prison. Say what you will about this season, but it's bringing back some welcome variety in the costume department.

My biggest unanswered question also ties in with what I liked...why the ever-living fuck did Sam and Dean hang around with the comatose POTUS at the end? Were they actually waiting to be arrested? BUT I have a kink for our boys handcuffed and helpless - yes, I'm a sick puppy!

This episode was very disappointing but had good moments and hasn't spoiled what's been a great season so far. I'm still excited to see what happens next.

And I love your 'what show would you name your baby after' question! Poor little Arrow. it could've been worse, she might have been Frequency - or Freq for short!

I'm not a fan of abortion and I certainly don't want it in my genre entertainment, so I'm not at all happy about the evil pregnancy storyline.

Also, if I remember correctly, free will was once the theme of the show... So couldn't the baby just, IDK, choose not to be evil?

Mind. Blown.

My money is on a rapidly aging kid who will be the Big Bad for the rest of the season. Because we've never seen that before.

I did like that the show actually remembered that Castiel has powers.

I think Dean stopped him from fighting because he didn't want Cas killing those Secret Service agents. What's more puzzling is: Crowley can teleport with other people? Since when?

Mr Ketch's introduction was way cool. But they should have hired British actor.

The nephilim/waitress in Clip Show said she just wanted to live her life, so presumably she was either lying or nephilim aren't necessarily evil. Cas once called Sam an abomination as well so that doesn't mean a thing.

If I were pregnant with Lucifer's child, however, I would at the very least be praying for a miscarriage. That's not a chance I'd want to take. The fact is what happened was rape. Lucifer misrepresented who he was. She did not consent to have sex with him. As usual, the show doesn't appear to be taking that seriously. I just don't buy the whole, "It's my babbee" crap that Kelly is currently spewing -- unless the fetus has some kind of supernatural influence on her. Either way, she isn't carrying a human fetus. I'm just thoroughly creeped out by the entire storyline. *shudders* My guess is that Buckner/Ross-Leming are going for a Rosemary's Baby/Damian narrative.

Also, I don't recall anyone saying they were putting Lucifer back into the Cage? Correct me if I'm mistaken on that, but all I recall is that they were sending him to hell. If so, what's to keep him there?

This episode was such a hot mess, where to start? Lucifer becomes POTUS, and all he does is sire a nephilim? Weren't we all hoping for, oh, I don't know, some national chaos? Some inter-government intrigue, even if it was only for 15 minutes? LAME.

I'm pro-choice but I know the show wouldn't go there. Still, as someone else said, "it's my babeeee!" LAME.

Everything else except Sammy hair, Dean and the grenade launcher, "go to hell!". Buckleiming should never be allowed near an episode. Oh, right, Mrs. Singer.

I'm betting on rapidly aging baby, who will be able to break dear old Dad out of the Cage. Then Luci will either work really hard to be a good father and be overthrown by his son, or tick Lucifer off and suddenly become Luci's new, strong vessel. Points, if for no good reason, Luci, Jr looks just like Mark P.

And Cas said This is true. Angry Little Cole, Crowley and Rowena, even Lucifer himself - you've been willing to work with all of them, with no regard for your own safety or mental well-being, and it's one thing I love and respect about you. But it doesn't seem that you're quite desperate enough to reach out to the BMoL

And Sam thought There was this angel, who called me an abomination, let me out of a safe room so I could spring Lucifer and be damned to become his vessel. Who changed sides and was able to see souls being carried in luggage. Then when he "rescued" me from the Cage, he grabbed my body, not my soul and never noticed. Once I got my soul back he eventually broke my mind by returning horrible memories of unending torture, merely as a way to distract Dean, I kept trusting him, even when there were other options AND the demon who took over my body, used it to murder another hunter, used it to try to rape a friend and used it try to kill Dean. Frankly torturing me is just the way people say "howdy".

They better make the Winchesters-in-prison stuff really good, because I'm putting all my enjoyment eggs in that one basket for the time being.

At the very least, should make for some damn good Hellatus fic. Bring on the H/C and angst!!

I'm pulling a Scarlett and I'm going to think about it all tomorrow and in this case hope tomorrow is a better day for show. LOL Though Sam and Dean were very pretty and I did have a few smiles this episode. As for naming a child after a show- just couldn't do that- maybe a kid named Clark Kent would be fun though. :)
