I've never seen this take on things before and the glimpses into Sam's mind were as intense as they were sad. His desperation and constant insecurities about reality are even worse because they totally could be true; you tied this in with canon very well! I'm sorry I can't be as enthusiastic as this story deserves right now, but it actually left me grieving the many things the brothers lost over the years. Which is testament to your writing skills, now that I think about it, so well done!

Also, as the poster before me already stated, thank you so much for fixing the Amelia situation. What you implied is terrible (poor Sam!), but I actually prefer this to the mess show made of it.
