I think the title has the world to do with the fic, given that Dean is taking their real history and spinning it into something else for this doctor. Granted, it involves a TRAGIC CAR CRASH AND DUBIOUS MEDICAL ATTENTION, but I guess when you start with the baseline of the Winchesters lives, even a sad song made better is still 90% strife. This is so lovely. <3 And I love that moment of spiking adrenaline with the "Consultation Room"--because yes, yes that is definitely what that would feel like, and what it would seem to intone.
