Have to say I found the end of the colt arc severely lacking in dramatic pay-off after the build up f its re-introduction. This episode has shown some classic signs of being a 'sweeping potential series-finale plots under the carpet since they've been given the go ahead for season 13, after all' episode. It's so frustrating. Every year since season 7 I've seen them setting up a potential endgame all season only to trash it as soon as the show gets picked up for the next season. I'm sure Kripke used to do the same thing, but he managed not to make it obvious : /
