I also wholly agree that I found exploring Patience tested my patience, and I wish they wouldn't take up precious SPN real estate on Wayward groundwork. But I get why they're doing it: Wayward Sisters is their last best hope for a spin-off, for continuing the franchise.
My problem with this is, they've already got *four* characters we are invested in. Couldn't her backstory have come on her own show? If the four people we already know aren't enough to make us watch, one more random teenager isn't going to do it.
