I will give credit to Meredith Glynn, the other writer who has actually shown a Sam POV this season. I mean he didn't get much in The Big Empty, but he did a a couple of lines about how he feels about Mary, so we have two writers on staff who see Sam as more than pretty wallpaper, but I'll give you that Davy Perez does it best.

There were lots of holes in this, but from an emotional POV, this was a great episode.
