I enjoyed the ep, except for the slo-mo, extended fight stuff they're doing now, and the glowy, posey stuff they did with Kaia. Not necessary!
And I'm fine with her being a first love. You *can* fall hard and fast for someone, you can crush big time, and being in a scary, life-threatening situation can make it happen *faster*. Plus, it's probably crush/puppy love/attraction all mixed up with fear and guilt and anger, so..... It works for me. The idea that she could have *really fallen* for the girl she thinks she now killed...it'll do your head in.
I think they brought the witch back so as to not have to deal with the police/etc. finding stuff they shouldn't find, which makes sense, and possibly that if they find the weird bullet, it might start connecting to other killings and such out there, so - track covering. But also pretty much the only way to make that solution work, so - i handwave.
Poor Jack - can't catch a break. And Dean saying he wasn't *trying* to be a dick, hee. He's treating Jack a bit like Sam and Castiel (mocking, blunt truth, tough love), and I like that. I like that Jack got to solve a mystery, that they consulted Rowena, that they fucking DID NOT include Nick in this story line (i'm so over Lucifer/Nick/all that).
