I have to defend the weird angled hall that Sam walked down. I buy and resell and do estate sales for a living so I go through a lot of houses and a lot of dead people's stuff ever year. I've seen some really weird house designs, especially in older homes before building codes were a thing really.

The houses like that are my favorite because you just wonder how drunk the builders were at the time of construction. Heck I almost died a month ago because someone felt the proper spot for the basement stairs was 3ft from the kitchen stove in this one house.
