I saw this from Jensen's Facebook post! I... don't like the house. But getting a peek into their lives is still fun, and I enjoy the pictures of the family (love Daneel's dress). There were bits of the house I liked. Just none that really go with any of the others. And I'm sorry... I object to JJ's room. That is just not a kid's room to me. It doesn't look comfortable or fun.
Their house is unbelievably beautiful, incredibly stylish and...kind of cold, in my opinion. The Padalecki's home, at least the one featured a few years ago in People or something, was beautiful, warm and very inviting and had a real Texas flavor to it. I get that photo shoots like this don't give you any flavor of use, but Jared's house looked like a place that kids could live in. :)
I liked how bright and airy it was but not a huge amount else - oh, the stained glass lamps were nice and the sort of thing that went in those kind of spaces. And it is an improvement on what was there when they moved in! But I wouldn't want to live in it with that decor myself.
I'm really curious about the fact that they brought almost nothing with them from their California place - I find that really weird. But I'm such a hoarder myself I find people who don't keep years and years worth of ephemera very strange.
