See, I would have loved that, but it wasn't written/acted well enough for me to get it. To me it just looked some cheesy pandering to a noisy, demanding minority of fans. (Not shippers in general, but the ones who insist on harassing the cast/writers about making it canon). The larger picture is what they needed, and I don't feel like I got it.
