Something completely different
Dec. 20th, 2018 03:46 pmAs we enter week one of A Month Without New Episodes, let's talk about something completely unrelated to Supernatural. I've been re-listening to one of my favorite podcasts, The Monster Hunters. Yes, I know you're saying "that actually sounds like it might be completely related to Supernatural," but it's not. They have nothing in common.
It's a charming, nutty British comedy podcast about two men who, yes, do hunt monsters, but they do it in England in the 1970s. And they're not brothers. One is a quiet, kind, scholarly professor. In the second episode, he finds himself attracted to a woman for the first time since a year ago, when his wife was killed by a monster. Sadly, the new woman is bitten by a werewolf and insists on killing herself with his silver-bullet-laden gun. The other is a fighter, a drinker (especially Scotch), and a ladies man. He drives a Jensen, which is an old British sportscar I've never heard of, and has an ex-wife whose maiden name is Winchester.
Oh, wait a minute...
