In fact I agree with you on all of your points. It’s truly sad how the cinematography declined over the years. With the super saturated colors and often bright interiors, it started to look like every other show. It seems to me that they shot less and less at night, which I’m sure made life easier for the cast and crew, but undermined the mood of the show.
But we did get so many of the things we wanted. Still, I can’t stop thinking about Sam grieving for decades before that reunion in heaven.
