I basically only ever remember to watch this show when I see your recap come up, so I then scramble over to another tab, hunt it down, watch it, then scramble back over here to see your take, and man, there is ONE THING that keeps sticking out to me:

I cannot stand that fucking mama. She seems like a truly awful person. Your son was, for all you knew, completely dead, your other son *might* have been dead but was at least in desperate, terrible emotional traumatic distress (still is, but at least he's home now, where you can hector him and treat him like crap right to his face, yay?) and making bad dangerous decisions, his kids are obviously trying desperately to hold on with the death of their mother and absence of their father, you've got one kid who's fucking up but at least *trying* to do the right thing and another kid who seems to have his shit all sorted out, and you're going to cling to...the charming one who robs banks and goes to jail a lot. Because that makes sense. You're also going to cheat on your husband. Awesome. Good job. Excellent life choices.

I just really, really can't stand her. Every single time I see her face contort into some new condescending judgy expression or her voice make some cornpone sympathy noise that's really insulting, I literally growl and scare my cat.
