So Liam's boss--a public official--can just say he's working from home for the rest of his term and that's just cool? No one is going to investigate why he didn't charge the corrupt cop? Come to think of it, what did happen to corrupt cop? Did Liam's boss charge him and then decide to hide from getting his truck burned too? Or did Liam get the state attorney general to press charges after all? I have questions...
Also, does it seem like good management technique to have a little group of Rangers among all of those who report to you that you go out drinking with after work and visit at their home? Seems like a good way to stir up resentment among the rest of the Rangers about favoritism...
Guess it's just the way things go in Texas...
(And Jared--I mean Walker's--speech when he walked in wearing his Ranger clothes and wanting to be allowed back in--I just cringed at the over-emotional earnestness of the words. In real life my reaction would be 'your personal life doesn't belong in this room right now' but maybe that's just me?)
OTOH, the Captain's son being arrested and set up viscerally hurt to watch for its realism...
