I absolutely thought Cain transferred the mark. That seemed to be the whole point? And haven't we heard multiple times that Dean's the only one who can wield the blade, which wouldn't be true if Cain still had the mark, right? As to Metatron meeting Dean's handsome fists, I think(?) there's something about the warding and the chains in that room that makes angels/demons/whateverthefuck more vulnerable. I did find myself wondering just what it takes to make that gracey-blue shine, though. Like, a nosebleed isn't enough. It has to be a cut? With an angel blade maybe? Just die now, metatron. I hate you.

I'm kind of hoping for some oedipal (not explicit, just suggested, like the show does so well) thing between Crowley and Rowena (and I'm totally blaming this on alethiometry), and that he's not just suddenly and inexplicably stupid. We'll see.
