Also I totally feel your pain with the MOC fic dilemma, I'm writing one too and fretting every week about canon messing with it. At some point I guess you just have to go "screw it", carry on writing and label the thing "au"... but yeah it's such a pain. I think though there's a week hiatus after this (ANOTHER one) so if you get through this week ok then there's a good window for fic finishing!
