Since I sometimes get the feeling that the scriptwriters of our show troll LJ/AO3/fanfiction.net to get plot ideas; I think it's possible they may give us the closest 'canon' version of 'were': MOC!Dean will age very VERY slowly- ('coz for a dude around for basically the beginning of the human race, Cain looked very 'young', so it follows that Dean with the mark should share that trait.); and we may have Sam catching up to Dean 'physical-age' wise and then cross him (I mean they've already introduced de-aging; it's not too far fetched, is it?) Of course the special-effects guys will have to work over-time; but *shrugs* And then ... well, I got nothing.
And I may be sleep-deprived and slightly hungover on fic AND show at the moment. Oops.
