This was devilishly wonderful, crammed full of hurty goodness!
I adored the way you formatted this; with the before and afters, and how they were carefully placed to eventually tell the whole story. The twist with Dean 'sharing' the Mark with Sam was perfectly crafted as I was sure he'd killed him, such a great use of misdirection - I did not see it coming at all!
Sam's reaction to leave was so in character, and I loved what he did to his cabin; the carefully constructed devil's trap and garden, and the monster wiki was such a neat touch. Dean's reaction to shut himself away in horror of his own actions was also so true to who is at his core.
The ending packed such a punch, and I loved how quiet and understated their deaths were. Together is the only way I can see them both dying, for good, and you did that with a perfect balance of Winchester and tenderness. And Baby too - don't get me started on how perfect that was *sniff*
