Yes, a few nitpicks but overall I couldn't have been more delighted and on edge to see Lucifer (and Mark - it wouldn't have worked at all without him! And yes, he does creepy smarminess like no other!)
For me the episode flew by, and on the whole it felt balanced to me and held my full attention. The Angel scenes were small, and didn't bother me too much (and I liked to see a little pick up from the Angel and Demon in the bar), the chemistry between Dean and Amara was smoking ("i can't be resisted") and I liked hearing and seeing this Amara and maybe learning a bit about her motivations and plans, I enjoyed Crowley, Rowena and Sam together, would I have like more Sam and Dean - yes. Would I have exchanged that for less Sam and Lucifer - no.
Have Rowena and Crowley set Sam up? Or do the three of them have a back up? I can't wait to find out. Bring on January! (and you can never have too many pretty pretty pictures!)
