How can I get this person's job?

In my never-ending battle to avoid spoilers, I don't read the descriptions U-verse (my television provider) gives each episode. Turns out that's not really a problem sometimes. These are actual U-verse descriptions:

Mom had a very complicated way of committing suicide. I wonder how she got herself on the ceiling?

I can't even.

You remember Jenna, the nurse? Who liked cosplaying as a cop? And maybe calling the Darkness "the deadly gas" is their way of avoiding spoilers? Because they're obviously trying to do that, right? (Spoiler alert: wrong.)

Yes, Dean being able to see Sully. That's the shocking part. That's a major plot point that wasn't explained at all.

Mysterious song?

What was Dean's startling discovery? Was it the Single Perfect Tear? Is this when he discovered it?
And so you might think, okay, it's obviously safe to read the episode descriptions, since they're apparently written by someone who watched half of the preview and are not spoiling the actual plot at all. But you would be wrong.

Way to ruin the big twist, jerks. (Although, in their defense, Netflix did the same thing for this episode... I'm glad I didn't read the description, because it was still a surprise for me when I saw this one the first time.)

This is LITERALLY THE ENTIRE PLOT. I mean, how did they describe All Hell Breaks Loose pt 1? "Sam is kidnapped by demons and just as Dean finds him, he is stabbed in the back and DIES." (Although it probably would have said John found him. Or Jimmy, the nurse.)

Date: 2016-09-29 11:39 pm (UTC)They also sound like my mother wrote them. Whenever she catches episodes on TNT she will tell me what she was watching and her understanding of the episode is always so skewed I'm reasonably certain she's watching SPN in an alternate reality. Just like whoever writes the UVerse summaries!
