I thought Jensen himself said he decided to make Dean not a good singer. And honestly, in that scene from the video, he’s not what I’d call a good singer. Just your average guy who can sing along with the radio.

Well, to me, it sounds exactly the same as the way he sings in concert, and everyone loves that, so . . . I dunno.
