Speaking of Hannibal

Since some of my flist are also Fannibals, I'm going to take a short break from our regularly scheduled programming and discuss Hannibal. Spoilers ahead for 2.11, "Ko No Mono."

Will told Jack he was going to scam Hannibal, although not in so many words. "I'm a good fisherman, Jack" he said when they were ice fishing

See, I completely misinterpreted that. I thought Will was referring to people he was going to "fish" under Hannibal's tutelage.

I took the ice fishing scene as Jack and Will conspiring too. Plus, every time we've seen Jack acting clueless in the episodes since, it's been when Hannibal was in the room watching them. I honestly don't think Jack and Will have had a scene alone together since.

I'm pretty sure the meat Will gave Hannibal was a cut off the Mechanical Wolf Killer--they made a point of showing us his body was in Will's freezer when Freddie discovered it. Will killed that guy in self-defense (well, kind of), and I can see Jack being willing to look the other way on mutilating a serial killer's corpse if that's what it takes to catch Hannibal.

By the way, you know who else's body we haven't seen? Chilton. I'd bet money he's alive too.

I don't know about Chilton... They'd have to fool both Alana and Miriam. And he looked pretty dead.
