The list of writers I'd resurrect is a helluva lot longer than the list of writers I'd keep. But I sometimes wonder if it might solve all the show's problems if we could just resurrect Kim Manners :(

Here's an interesting idea for a poll: list all the regular writers the show's ever had and ask people to pick their dream team. Mine would be:

Kripke
Gamble
Shiban
Edlund
Humphris
Tucker
Thompson
Glass

Your list is probably the A-team for sure. I love John Shiban's episodes too bad he was only a part of the first season. I might add Daniel Loflin and Andrew Dabb to the maybe list but only as a pair.

You should do this poll! I don't pay a lot of attention to the writers but I do know I want Kripke and Gamble back. And Thompson is a keeper.
