I'm supposed to be posting a pic-heavy review of last night's Supernatural episode today, but since that's STILL NOT HAPPENING (stupid hiatus) I think I'll follow the lead of some of my flisties and try to make a weekly post anyway.

What's going on?

1. I've suddenly found myself in a world that has neither David Bowie nor Alan Rickman in it and I'm not happy about that. Dammit.

2. I was looking forward to reading everything in the [livejournal.com profile] sammybigbang but not planning on writing anything, when suddenly this morning I thought of how I want to rework the fic that's been stalled for months, but can I do it? Can I come up with a decent draft in two days? Which is actually more like two hours, since I can only do it during my lunch hour? Probably not. Dammit.

3. I stepped back into Tumblr (which I'd been avoiding because spoilers but I can't help it, it's so pretty {strokes its hair}) and I'm spoiled now. In a minor way, and it's something I could have guessed anyway, but still. Always disappointed in myself when that happens. Dammit.

4. Freaking Yahoo spoiled me too, not about the next episode (I think) but about a guest star later in the season. Dammit.

5. My foot itches and I'm wearing boots. Dammit.

Well, that was exciting! I'm sure next week's post will be infinitely better, and with fewer things to say "dammit" about. And if not, at least there will be pretty pics. :-D

(Oh God, I hope I didn't just jinx myself.)

Twitter's a bastard for spoilers too - I inadvertently saw a fucking humungous one for next week's episode yesterday. And it was from some official site too, not a random fan tweet. Grrrr.

I had to stop following the official Twitter for the show because they kept posting spoilers. It's maddening. I wonder how the writers feel about it? Like, the dark Charlie episode last season was obviously supposed to be a big surprising reveal at the beginning of the episode, and yet it had already been spoiled on Twitter. I'd be furious.

Either Bob Singer or Jim Michaels said at a Con that the CW marketing guys keep stuffing up the show by putting stuff into trailers and promos that they'd all been keeping quiet. I think they do manage to put their feet down occasionally - like keeping Matt Cohen's reappearance out of view before that recent episode, but most of the time they can't control what the network sees fit to release. I refuse to watch trailers now because they are either too revealing or just plain misleading.
