Thank you so much, I missed "Agents Moon and Entwhistle"! So funny!

I loved the grenade launcher being labelled 'NO' and Dean playing with Rowena's hair. I bet Ruth loved that too!

And yes, Dean MUST ride a mechanical bull every week and ALWAYS end up laying back on it...*swoons*

Petty, petty, here, but....

You misspelled Entwistle. As a Who-ligan from way back (and blood relative of Keith Moon), I had to speak up.

Petty of me, I am aware, but there it is.

Also, one of the best episodes ever!!!!

Not petty at all - that's a serious error on my part! And I'm impressed by your lineage. :)

The story behind my proclamation

Thank you!!!

My father got into genaeology when I was in third grade and had to do a faily tree for a class project. He found out that we are EnDaglish -- came over in 1624 on a ship called the Rebecca. The grandson of that immigrant married an Algonquin Indian and he had three grandsons -- one of whom stayed in North Carolina, one of whom moved to Kentucky (my ancestor) and one of whom moved back to England (Keith's ancestor).

In those research projects we turned up two relatives that perished on the Titanic (One of whom is buried in Halifax), and Daddy lost the trail with a young woman named Katherine. All he had was a photograph.

Cue 2004, I'm looking at a biography of Keith Moon and I turn a page in the picture section -- and lo and behold there is THE EXACT PICTURE my daddy has! He can't find her cause she changed her name to Kit. She married Keith's father and had four children.

Daddy was thrilled with the extra information and me? I was stunned. Simply STUNNED.

This is so cool! I love geneaology, and I live in Halifax so in canvassing cemetaries I have come across some of the Titanic graves. Thank you for sharing your history with us. :)

> If Dean was getting food for both of them, Sam obviously expected him back, so why wasn't he more panicked?

Was it actually said that he was getting food for both of them? Cos, I assume Dean regularly 'goes out for a burger', stays out for a few drinks, and then doesn't come home at all because he's got laid . . . granted that last part probably isn't happening so often these days, but still, I have no problem with the idea that Sam didn't think this was out of normal parameters. Also, judging from what we're told and see on the security tape, (and in the ep teaser) it would appear that Dean did have several drinks, ride Larry and get it on with the waitress before he spotted the witch and got 'roofied' so I'd say that Sam was right and "I'm going out for a burger" is general loose code for "I'm going out to eat and whatever, see you whenever".

This is all perfectly true, except that Dean ordered two burgers to go. So it sounds more like "I'm getting dinner for us" than "don't wait up." But maybe he gets distracted by tequila and waitresses frequently?

Yeah, the repeated grenade launcher denial has to pay off eventually on something and the more they put it off the bigger that something has to be.

My favorite nose-boopage is a different Rowena/Dean one; in The Werther Project, she not only boops his nose, she calls him a "bonny lad" and suggests tying him up.

This is why I chose other boopage. It was so cute, and Jensen talking about how he had made Ruthie nervous, made it even better.

In the 'things I loved about this episode' you forgot the option of "ALL OF IT, IT WAS PERFECT!!!" Having seen it last night I'm still riding high on squee and my brain can't seen anything negative!!!!

I checked off almost everything in the first part! I loved this episode! SAM WAS SO GODDAMN GORGEOUS I ALMOST LICKED MY TV SCREEN.

My only cavil: I wish we had seen a teensy-weensy bit more of the witch battle. Rowena giving Dean the voodoo doll to play with was epic.

I picked "Mystery Spot". "Yellow Fever" is overall funnier, but Sam being trapped in the time loop is fantastic.

What I want to know is: Is it really common for waiters to have sex with their customers in the bathroom of their workplace?

Rowena still has the Book of the Damned, right? I would think that'd trump Black Grimiore but maybe there's something specific Rowena needs in the BG, in which case she'll likely go after it again.

I'm thinking that if magic gets used by TFW, it'll be Sam trying to use Lily's anti-angel magics on Lucifer or the nephilim. I say Sam just because he's more often shown spellcasting/has been aligned with witchcraft in general ways, and because I can't stop hoping for some form of Sam using powers. Plus it'd make "Brother! Witch!" funny foreshadowing. Obvious drawback to this theory is that anti-angel caliber magic seems to require burning away pieces of your soul, but I guess that could be the big end-of-season attempted sacrifice.

RE: two keys
I don't know the car maker's reasons, but my mom kept them on separate key chains. If the kids got antsy, you could send them out to the car with no fear they would start the engine. The flip side of that is you can lock the kids in the car with the motor running and the air conditioning or heater on and not wear the battery down. We were old enough to know not to crawl over into the front seat, so no chance of knocking the car out of Park. (Back then, bench seats like the Impala's were norm. The only cars that had bucket seats were expensive things like Jaguars and Porches.
