Not petty at all - that's a serious error on my part! And I'm impressed by your lineage. :)

The story behind my proclamation

Thank you!!!

My father got into genaeology when I was in third grade and had to do a faily tree for a class project. He found out that we are EnDaglish -- came over in 1624 on a ship called the Rebecca. The grandson of that immigrant married an Algonquin Indian and he had three grandsons -- one of whom stayed in North Carolina, one of whom moved to Kentucky (my ancestor) and one of whom moved back to England (Keith's ancestor).

In those research projects we turned up two relatives that perished on the Titanic (One of whom is buried in Halifax), and Daddy lost the trail with a young woman named Katherine. All he had was a photograph.

Cue 2004, I'm looking at a biography of Keith Moon and I turn a page in the picture section -- and lo and behold there is THE EXACT PICTURE my daddy has! He can't find her cause she changed her name to Kit. She married Keith's father and had four children.

Daddy was thrilled with the extra information and me? I was stunned. Simply STUNNED.

This is so cool! I love geneaology, and I live in Halifax so in canvassing cemetaries I have come across some of the Titanic graves. Thank you for sharing your history with us. :)
